Gameplay
The gameplay for Music Challenge is very simple, you are given an about 1 minute to score as many correct answer as you can before the timers run out. The more you score the higher your rank will be among your friends.

In this game, the real test is to test your knowledge in the music industry and I do mean test! Some of the songs I notice is as old as I am or way older. (The late yet never forgotten Elvis and Michael Jackson)

Like I said, the players will be given 1 minute to guess correct as many songs as the game can throw for you. When you first started you are given a jukebox, some of the parents might actually remember what this musical box is…

So the game starts by playing a short clip of a song and players need to guess correct the song title it is playing. Players will have 6 choices to choose from, as the music goes, so does the timer. The game provides 2 timers, one for the song and one for the game. The song timer last as long as the song only and as the timer goes down, the multiple choice of answer will be shorten up giving players a bit of hint. If player score correctly the green orb will be lighted up on the top right corner of the screen. Get 3 correct and the player will be put into a bonus stage which players will have to guess the artist who sang the song.

If players wrongly guess 5 answers, then the game is over. However, the game is rather merciful as if you manage to get 1 answer correctly out of the 5 wrong one the counter will reset.

After you finished the game, the game will then provide you with a list of songs that you can buy or download. Note to players, this involved money so think twice before doing it.

Graphic
Not much to say unless you really like the jukebox. There is little animation on this game.

Sound
This is a music game so the sound is surely there. I discovered that playing this game with a headphone is a lot better than using your speakers. The songs are very fuzzy and at times it is hard to make head or tail over it.

Conclusion
I would recommend this game to those who really love to challenge their knowledge in music. However, this game is pretty boring and frustrating to those who have little knowledge in them, just like me.

I give this game a 3 out of 5 rating.

Now, keep in mind that your companion is simply a program and any kind of ‘romance’ between your character and your companion will probably only add depth to the narrative. Having said that, there are definitely advantages to getting SWTOR gifts for your companion.

Each and every companion will have a certain level of liking towards a particular gift. In fact, there are 4 types of liking, which are Indifferent/None, Like, Love and Favorite. As you can probably tell, a gift that is Favorited by a companion will increase their affection towards you more than if the gift was only Loved, which in turn will have a higher affection level than if the gift was only Liked.

There are also 5 different affection levels as well, 1 being the lowest and 5 being the higher affection level. In turn, there are 5 corresponding ranks for SWTOR gifts for each affection level.

The way this system works is that giving your companions SWTOR gifts of a certain level can significantly or insignificantly increase their affection towards you. For example, if your companion’s affection level is level 1 and you gave them a gift that is of a level 3 ranking, then this will have a much higher affection gain than if you just gave them a level 1 gift. Similarly, if your companion’s affection ranking is level 3 but you only gave them a level 1 gift, then this will have a much lower affection gain than if you just gave them a level 3 gift.

However, if you give gifts matching your companion’s affection level, then you will gain a certain number of affection points.

Indifferent gifts: +0 points

Like gifts: +24 points

Love gifts: +54 points

Favorite gifts: +96 points

SWTOR gifts are also color coded to indicate its rarity, which can affect the perceived value of the gift by your companion. These colors are green, blue and purple, where green is the most common and purple is the least common.

You will only be able to purchase a personal SWTOR speeder when you reach level 25. To access your personal speeder bike, you will need to open the abilities panel and then click on the vehicles tab. Then, you can right-click on the personal speeder button to activate it or to deactivate it. You can also drag and drop the personal speeder button to your Quickbar for more convenient access.

There are some speeders that can only be accessed by either Republic or Empire players and not both. In any case, you’ll be able to purchase your very first SWTOR speeder for 8000 credits. For Empire players, you will be able to get this from Captain Tanji of the Imperial Fleet – Vaiken Spacedock in the Galactic Trade Market. You can find this in the 2nd room from the right in the lower level. For Republic players, you will be able to get this from Barik of the Republic Fleet – Carrick Station in the same trade market. You will find this in the center room on the lower level.

Some of the very first SWTOR speeder types that you will encounter are:

Czerka Patroller: This speeder will increase your movement speed by 90% and costs 8000 credits

Rendili Watchman: This speeder will also increase your movement speed by 90% and also costs 8000 credits

In order for you to pilot any vehicle, including the speeder, you must purchase a speeder piloting skill from your Class Trainer. There are 3 rankings and they are:

Rank 1 – 40,000 credits

Rank 2 – 210,000 credits

Rank 3 – 330,000 credits

The reason why there are 3 speeder ranks is because there are also 3 corresponding tiers of speeders that you can purchase. As previously mentioned, the 1st tier is level 25 and then this is followed by level 40 and then level 50. Higher levels of speeders give you better protection of being knocked off. However, you must keep in mind that none of the SWTOR speeders will give you any bonus attributes other than increased speed, none of the speeders can protect you from being damaged and you also cannot ride a SWTOR speeder into any spaceport or building.

This novel takes place after the second war. The main plot line is the freeing of Dragonqueen Alexstraza from the Dragonmaw Clan. A Dalaran Mage Rhonin is in charge of freeing her. Rhonin along with the dragon mage Krasus. On their journey to rescue the Dragonqueen they are faced with many challenges along the way. They were attacked by a dragonmaw orc patrol along and faced many similar complecations. My Norgannon considers this a great read.

2. Lord of the Clans by: Christie Golden.

This novel is the story of the rise of Warchief Thrall after the collapse of the horde.

My Norgannon finds this book very interesting and recommend to anyone who is interested in the story behind the rise of Thrall.

3. The Last Guardian by: Jeff Grub

This novel is about Medivh’s struggle between evil and good. As he is destined to be very powerful, his decisions can change the very face of Azeroth.

War of the Ancients Series

This book series acts as a prequel to Warcraft games and other novels. These help players understand the lore of The World of Warcraft greatly and we highly recommend them. The three following novels are by the writer Richard A. Knaak.

1. The Well of Eternity

This novel takes place months after the Battle for Mount Hyjal. Three warriors from current times were sent back in time from a mysterious rift in the Kalimdor Mountians. These warriors have to convice the Queen to not cleanse Azeroth of the lesser races.

3. The Great Sundering

As the last novel of the series, The Great Sundering describes the end of the War of the Ancients time line. This includes the Sundering of Azeroth into the two continents that exist today.

The Authors who have written these books have put much time into them. We and My Norgannon suggest you all to read some or all of them. It would also be great to pass this information onto your friends as they can find much pleasure from reading them. As these books are numbered, they are not required to read all of them to understand the others. You can read any book from either series and have a good idea of whats going on.

Before the battle begins have a look at the map by pressing m on your keyboard. The map clearly shows the starting and resource points. Of course you can make your own maps by using your keyboard. Press M and Prt Scr to save a map to your World of Warcraft files.

Whilst waiting for the match to start your team should discuss tactics. The first should be to divide your team into three balanced groups, or as balanced as possible, with tanks, DPS and healers in all three. The first group will hold the stable (Alliance) or farm (Horde), the second will fight for the LM, the third for the BS.

As my characters are in the Alliance faction. I will write the rest of this article from an Alliance perspective. It will be easy enough to adapt for a Horde battle plan.

What the Horde are likely to have done is headed to the mine and left the farm poorly defended, or undefended. They will also have split their team into less than five members per group. Your LM group should head towards the Farm immediately and take it down quickly. You will find that the stables will be attacked and, presuming all of that group are keeping to the plan, it should be defended successfully.

If all has gone smoothly your team will now hold four resources. It is, I would say, impossible to retain this position from purely a defensive strategy and the aim should be to push the Horde back to their starting area. So to maintain this momentum the stable group should head towards the mine and secure it. The BS group, depending on their present situation, should move onto the farm. They will need to check the map to make sure the Horde mine group is not heading their way first of all.

The farm group should be ensuring that the Horde are unable to get past to head to any of the resources. This is best achieved by pushing on up to the Horde base and attacking any Horde that emerge. If the Horde have any sense they will come out in a large group, but rarely do you get that kind of coordination.

Once the mine has been secured and all five resources are held the end is in sight. Apart from a couple of Rogues or Druids everyone should then head in a large group into the Horde base and spawning area. The Rogue and Druid should make sure that no Horde have escaped the net and retake quickly any resources captured.

Many people will have negative views about the tactic outlined, and of course it does rely on all the team following orders and all of the initial encounters being won. Some will argue that only three resources need to be held and defended, which sounds good in theory, but will lead to the Horde zerging (attacking en masse) a base at a time.

A purely defensive strategy will not work. It has to be a combination of defence and attack. The strategy I have put forward will win most Arathi Basin battles, mainly because teams do not discuss strategy. The strategy outlined should be the one pursued throughout the course of the battle. In other words if the initial tactic does not deliver the three resources the groups continue to keep to the plan until they do and then they push on.

It is fairly easy to see on this map that the only real choke points are the starting bases. However, the initial LM group that moved on to take the farm can make sure that the Horde are not able to head towards the LM or BS (but they will need to ensure they do not fall for a diversionary tactic and end up losing the farm). Likewise it is evident that a group moving up from the mine can set up a choke point preventing access to the mine and BS. But be aware that the water can be crossed! So as I said, the definitive choke point is the base itself.

There you have a winning tactic so go out and earn your Honour Points!
